Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island (short trip from downtown Charleston) has the absolute best burgers you will ever eat. Great relaxed beachy atmosphere, just a block from the ocean. Has an excellent bar and even better food! Flame grilled burgers are cooked to perfection! Must check them out!!
