The year is underway, so get out and play! Browse our calendar of events to find all kinds of great ideas of events to get you going! As the month moves along, tourist season comes to full bloom so don't be left behind.

One of Charleston’s biggest annual events comes to life this month. The Southeast Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) brings exhibits, artists, naturalists and conservationists together from all over the country. The Lowcountry starts bustling again with the beginning of SEWE and it’s a time not to be missed!

But that’s not all that goes on in this awesome city this time of year! For all you beer connoisseurs out there, you won’t want to miss the annual Brewvival!

Live music, vendors and of course… lots of beer are on location! What makes this event special is the wide variety of beer available and the different serving methods performed. If beer is your thing, then this is one festival you do not want to miss!

Plus, its February… love is in the air! And what better place to spend Valentine’s Day than in the romantic ambiance of Historic Charleston?! Most local restaurants will have passionate specials and packages for a memorable night out with your sweetheart.

Even though February is considered a winter month, you never know what you will get in Charleston! So don’t be surprised if you find it is 80 degrees and sunny for that favorite outdoor festival you are headed to. Wouldn’t that be awesome!

However, be prepared for that dreadful 40 degree cloudy day. Lesson here… check the weather before you head out to any fun outdoor activities.
